VIVANTE – Unique walk through design

Our Vivante ‘ walk through’ camper is a unique design – effectively a small motorhome with the advantage of a fully built-in Thetford  toilet, large amounts of high level and over cab storage/sleeping, and separate lounge and galley areas.

It benefits from the latest SMEV oven/grill, Dometic 3-way fridge able to run on gas, or 240V hook up It’s important to be able to run on gas if not hooked up to an electricity supply, as fridges only run effectively on battery, whilst travelling.  As with all Leisuredrive vehicles supplied by Bridgewater, there is a comprehensive list of fabrics, wood finishes and equipment options available.

Around half of our customers opt for the high top roof  with the Vivante. For those that prefer an elevating roof, the side lifting roof offers full standing height along the full length of the Vivante…..come and see how spacious they are.

20 years of continual development

Originally introduced 20 years ago on the T4 model, the Vivante has been continuously developed  and evolved to be the fully tested, state of the art model of today. Onboard kitchen and heating is the same high quality equipment supplied on the Crusader.

The Vivante can be supplied in several seating layouts allowing the possibility of two single or one double bed arrangement down below, with a double up above. Our customers love the convenience of night time trips to the fabled toilet or kitchen!

Pricewise, it’s positioned slightly above the Crusader, and can be tailored to suit your budget.

CRUSADER – the classic camper layout

Bridgewater’s Crusader is, in many ways the classic VW layout first introduced in the 1960’s. It’s a layout which which has certainly stood the test of time and still used today widely throughout the VW camper world.

Relax, Eat, Sleep

The kitchen and storage area are  fitted along the offside of the vehicle, leaving ample room for the a large, flat and extremely comfortable double ‘Rock and Roll’ bed. The ‘Rock and Roll’ bed is easily transformed from the forward facing rear passenger seats and unlike some competitors, you don’t sleep on the uncomfortably hard under surface of the seats. With the front seats swivelled, the layout creates a spacious area to dine and relax.

Unique roof options

The majority of our Crusaders are supplied with a lifting roof which can be useful if being used as an every day vehicle eg. in a multi storey car park. The roof, uniquely offers full headroom height for the complete vehicle length, the best hinge stability, and the best resistance to side winds for pop up roof designs.  A glass fibre high top roof can also be fitted for those who prefer not to raise and lower the roof. Behind the rear passenger seat there is ample storage space for bedding etc.

It benefits from the latest SMEV oven/grill, Dometic 3-way fridge able to run on gas, or 240V hook up It’s important to be able to run on gas if not hooked up to an electricity supply, as fridges only run effectively on battery, whilst travelling. For added comfort, it can be specified with an Eberspacher overnight heater, a concealed Porta Potty, and has what we believe is the most comfortable double bed. As with all Leisuredrive vehicles supplied by Bridgewater, there is a comprehensive list of fabrics, wood finishes and equipment options available.

In its 2018 configuration,  all stock new build T6 Bridgewater Crusaders are fitted with aircon, parking sensors and DAB radio as standard. It is offered in three versions, Silver, Gold and Platinum with options around these.

Pricewise, the Crusader is positioned slightly below the Vivante, and can be tailored to suit your budget.
