Croatia – Campervan Heaven!
We’ve just returned from a Croatian road trip. Whether it’s the Roman History, the crystal clear waters of the Dalmatian coast, the Austro Hungarian architecture or the National Parks, Croatia has the campervan wow factor. Our favourites…The Amphitheatre in Pula, Dolphin spotting in Rovinj, Dining in Porec, Sight seeing Split and Trogir,Chilling on the Isle of Hvar and the walking through the amazing Plitvice national park. You have to see Dubrovnic too, but one day is enough…it’s crowded even in low season. Why is it so good for campervans?…
To top it all the camp site at Milna is right on the beach ( as in many other places),,and the views are fantastic from the various shaded terraces. If you don’t fancy cooking some evening then its just a 3 minute walk to around 5 restaurants. You can also catch a water taxi which takes you round a few bays to Hvar town.
Too much to wax lyrical about in one post but feel free to come along and interrogate us!
