We thought we knew which VW we wanted but visits to various dealers left us without the answers we needed - until we found Bridgewater Campers on Google.



 

What a different approach to buying a van!  A serious effort to tease out exactly what we wanted in a friendly atmosphere with facts and laughter as good companions.. Suggestions made by John as he sought to understand our needs came thick and fast. We spent three hours discussing, looking at short and long wheel base vans, comparing finishes and VW models.

No hard sell; ample time to look, to listen and explore a range of vans and come back with more questions. John explained the different packages available and we felt confident enough to say yes. Phone calls were answered from both John and Pete with a cheery greeting, good information and updates .So, one very rainy day we came by train and were collected at the station by John. The handover was equally thorough and stress free.  We drove away happy.

We were delighted with the excellent after sales service from John and Pete, who drove all the way to Kendal  on one occasion to sort out a couple of minor problems.

We have been delighted with our Vivante .  Bridgewater Campers was definitely the  right choice for us. Proper old fashioned service with a smile. Would we use them again? Definitely.

We bought our first camper last September from John and Pete and the service we received was excellent. They gave us all the info we needed as newbies to the campervan life and ensured we were well looked after. So much so when we decided to upgrade in June this year we had no hesitation in returning. Again, we were given all the info we needed, they had the perfect swap for us and we picked up our new van a week later. Any questions they are always on hand to help, nothing is too much trouble and we would highly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a camper to pay them a visit.

We were complete novices and are still on a huge learning curve !! We visited their premises having pre booked an appointment with John and he had a variety of camper vans to show us. We had a coffee with him and he explained in detail everything we needed to know about which camper van would be most suitable for us. We only went up to look around and get a feel for what we might need but bought one on that day !! Both John and Pete have a very relaxed style and on their own admission, are not professional salesmen. We stumbled across Bridgewater by accident, having spotted the Vivante layout with a rear kitchen, which solved a very specific issue we'd found with rented pop top VW campers previously......having a kitchen that is always full head clearance, and never obstructed by beds, was a game changer for us - travelling with 2 children.





We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bridgewater, and we'll definitely be back.
